Frequently Asked Questions

Does failing to enrol by the deadline affect my St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship?

No. Your rights and status as a citizen of St. Kitts and Nevis are entirely unaffected by this programme. The deadline applies to your travel document, not to your citizenship. A passport that has not been upgraded will be deactivated for international travel until enrolment is completed and a compliant biometric passport is issued.

No. Adults enrol once. Biometric validation at passport renewal is part of the standard issuance process and does not require a separate appointment or any additional biometric fee.

Citizens who are elderly, seriously ill, or otherwise unable to travel to an approved centre may submit a formal request for extenuating circumstances to the Ministry of National Security. Each case is assessed individually. We strongly advise enrolling well before the July 2027 deadline to avoid any disruption.

No. An Authorised Agent must facilitate all enrolment through the official government platform. Enrolment through any other channel is strictly prohibited. As your Authorised Agent, Karibi Consultants handles everything on your behalf.
