Does failing to enrol by the deadline affect my St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship?

No. Your rights and status as a citizen of St. Kitts and Nevis are entirely unaffected by this programme. The deadline applies to your travel document, not to your citizenship. A passport that has not been upgraded will be deactivated for international travel until enrolment is completed and a compliant biometric passport is issued.

Do I need to re-enrol my biometrics every time I renew my passport?

No. Adults enrol once. Biometric validation at passport renewal is part of the standard issuance process and does not require a separate appointment or any additional biometric fee.

What if I cannot travel to an enrolment centre before the deadline?

Citizens who are elderly, seriously ill, or otherwise unable to travel to an approved centre may submit a formal request for extenuating circumstances to the Ministry of National Security. Each case is assessed individually. We strongly advise enrolling well before the July 2027 deadline to avoid any disruption.

Can I enrol without using an Authorised Agent?
